Author: Bonnie Rickner Jensen
Genre: Christian, Children, Family, Board-Book
Plot: A father raccoon and a baby raccoon spend the day together doing fun things they love, like camping under the stars and fishing. Throughout the course of the day, Daddy Raccoon teaches his baby about how much God loves them. God loves them when they play and when they pray. God is loving and forgiving even when mistakes are made and God made the day for them to enjoy.
A delightful story with gorgeous pictures and a wonderful way to teach children {raccoon and human} that God loves them so very much. The perfect Father's Day gift for anyone with young children.
Likes/Dislikes: My three yr. old loves this book and succeeded in getting her busy Daddy to read it to her one night. She tries to say the words along with me while I read it and she thinks the raccoons are cute. The ten month old cooed at a couple bright colored pictures and seemed fascinated that she could turn the pages to see more colors. I don't think she noticed it was about raccoons. Cute little book with cute little animals. Loved it!
Rating: G-all ages.
